What is Brotox and How Does it Work?

Brotox is a specialized Botox treatment tailored specifically for men. Designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, Brotox uses a neuromodulator to relax facial muscles, targeting common concerns like crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead wrinkles. This treatment is especially effective for men who want to maintain a youthful, refreshed look without an overdone appearance.

As men age, daily expressions and muscle movements can lead to visible lines around the eyes and forehead. Brotox addresses these areas by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles, helping to relax and smooth expression lines. Within 48-72 hours of treatment, you’ll notice a more relaxed and rejuvenated appearance. Full effects typically develop over two weeks and can last up to four months, giving you a boost of confidence with natural-looking results.

 

How Brotox is Used for Men?

Frown Lines
The muscles between your eyes, often called the “accordion,” pull together and apart as you frown, leading to frown lines (also known as the 11s). For Brotox, we administer a minimum of five precise injections to target these lines, softening your expression without compromising masculinity.

Horizontal Forehead Lines
We refer to the forehead area as the “Venetian blind” muscle. Just like blinds, as it moves up, so do your lines! To address these horizontal lines, we typically administer four to eight injections to relax the frontalis (forehead) muscle. Our approach is thorough and careful, ensuring you maintain a natural look and the ideal brow position.

Crow’s Feet
Crow’s feet are caused by the Orbicularis Oculi muscle around the eyes, which activates when you squint or smile. We’ll assess the depth of these lines and provide a customized dose that smooths out the area while preserving your natural expressions.

Comfort During Treatment
We use very fine needles, and a topical numbing cream is available upon request to ensure a comfortable experience.

Immediately After Your Brotox Treatment
Post-treatment, you might notice a slight raised, red “wheal” (similar to a mosquito bite) at the injection sites. These typically fade within 15 minutes. Bruising is rare but can occur; while we can’t predict bruising, following our After Care instructions can help speed up the healing process. Most bruising is temporary and can be concealed easily with cosmetic products if needed.
